First of all sir, I thank you for such a wonderful 10 days package. I had never thought that I would join a class after my boards exam. But everyone was so much excited about VMC that it attracted me too. Seriously telling, admission in VMC was not my aim. I just wanted to satisfy me…that I am also doing something. Moreover I had heard about your teaching from various sources. Everyone was saying cracking VMC was just next to impossible. Therefore I joined the classes to crack VMC paper…I am still not sure that I would join VMC even if I crack the paper and get the admission in regular classes. Studying under you was a great experience. The songs you gave were really good. I listen them now also. You along with Gaurav sir really put in a lot of efforts. But sir when it comes to teaching…I personally liked & understood your teaching more comfortably. Gaurav sir was great but yours was better. So sir try to take a greater part of the classes than the gaurav sir if possible. The material you gave was really good. But the quantity was a little bit more. The first 2-3 classes..i was not feeling good….because I never wanted to join a class immediately after my boards exam.. But when you told “ At least you are better than those who are not doing anything….and these classes not only means VMC but more than that” , I started feeling better. Sir you were great…. VMC paper was good. Some questions were same as we did in the class. I attempted around 12 questions of 3 marks…out of which I guess 9-10 are correct. And in the next section I attempted around 2-3 questions of 5 marks.. Hoping for a good result. I will definitely meet you after the results (whatever it may be)

Earlier I gave Olympiad, I could not expect a rank, but after bogus. I won a Gold medal with 96% marks which is a like a dream come true. It has been 10 years since I passed VI but whenever I think of it, it seems as if it all happened yesterday. I remember the first day I entered there with so many things going inside me. I was excited yet so nervous, but the environment makes you forget everything. The way manocha sir taught us English and the small surprise test that he used to take had become aa part of our lives. The friends I made at v.i. are my lifetime friends. We used to have so much fun along with the studies. It was a complete journey with them including moments of happiness, laughter, learning, sadness, disappointments and many more. Last but not the least this beautiful journey would have been incomplete without my favourite teacher – VISHAL SIR, who is more like an elder brother to me. ‘Simple Living High Thinking’ is the perfect line that describes him. “A person good at heart, who is so honest with no ego in him, a person who you can blindly trust, a person available for his students all the time, a person who can be relied upon for anything and everything without even giving a second thought.” Even these words are not enough to describe you sir. I cannot forget the punishments you used to give, the negative markings, the useless classes, the intelligence test, the GYANCHAND. I am going to cherish each and every moment spent at vi thought out my life. The love and care you showered will always have a special place in my heart. I believe Vishal Institute and the guidance from Vishal sir have been extremely instrumental in making me who I am today. I joined Vishal institute in class X, when i used to scared and horrified of mathematics. Joining Vishal helped me realise that maths is not scary at all, infact it can be made a lot of fun if taught in the right manner. And I believe, nobody can teach maths as good as Vishal sir does. Sir i always wanted to tell u some of the contents of this message that even u are unaware of and today is the day. sir u do not teach students just for the sake of it but you are one of those teachers who want students to learn. I still remember the tips you gave me while preparing for the vmc class xi entrance. The 3-4 nights before that entrance when you specially came on 100percentile's forum to help students. And one day when i wasn’t present, u specially mailed me some tips, gave me some questions and also asked that why u didn’t come online today because you came for me. I still have that mail. That was the care i received from a person who i was only in contact with virtually. Sir, there is one thing that u don’t know that i am telling u today. There was this Mental Maths competition that was organized in Mt. Abu School. Well i was writing my paper and was really frustrated..dont know why...maybe headache or the paper or something abt the irritating fan above..cant remember. And then someone from my exam hall had a doubt. "Then came a person who spoke so softly and politely that it blew me." After the exam i asked who was the teacher u were talking to, and my friends were he's our vishal sir. i think it was rachita. Sir i was your fan from that day.BIG BIG BIG FAN. Seriously sir, i still remember that moment when u spoke to rachita. It was so pure and calm. Its photographed in my memory. And then when i had a chance interacting with u on forums i didnt want to lose it. I even wished that once i clear iit, i will come and meet u. That day didnt come but i am sure i will meet you one day sir. Indeed sir, u are great, plz remain like this and i hope we stay in touch!

I joined Useless classes of Vishal Institute for 5-6 months in 10th grade. Initially, I was rather intimidated by the atmosphere of the institute with all the intelligent people studying there and the test on which I got a score of 2/20 (which to my great delight was not 0). However, once Vishal sir began to teach, everything became crystal clear. He taught us how to use simple little things which we know about, like the formula for area of a triangle in a ways which I had never thought of before. Sitting in the hard wooden benches was a real pain. I still have memories of me and my friends shifting around every 5-10 minutes or so while trying to concentrate on the teachings of sir, however this got us all prepared for the benches in the government schools which would often be our examination centres for exams like the JEE. Overall, Vishal sir did one simple thing to me, he unlocked the potential of my mind to think and use my knowledge and not just cram it up. And that has had a great impact in my life.

For my second home, V.I. Like a Rainbow seen for a moment, the days at VI passed away so soon. I am aghast, happy and sad. Today when I look back, I can’t believe that It has been 8 years I have passed out from this place. Whenever I think of it, I find myself sitting in trio on the first bench. I still remember the first time I entered the institute, everything frightened me but I was welcomed with so much warmth that soon I forgot my nervousness. I have learned to win with confidence and grace. I have learned to be ahead of time. (Being in 8th standard we were solving 9th & 10th standard questions, solving those crazy CAT question in useless classes & ITOM). I really miss those interesting English classes by Minocha Sir and fun filled sessions of Bio by Ajay sir. And how can I forget vishal sir ki negative marking and duster se pitai :P J.Those years of my life are a string of memorable & nostalgic moments spent in my second home, VI. Fun time with my dearest classmates We never really had dose larger-than-life for us to skim out required elements that make 4 a pack of rainbow hues, neither did we make any deliberate attempt for that to happen. All we did was to take as it is what life had to offer time and again – be it tears, fun n frolic, fights, dance parties , work load, etc. the destination, road, pace-everything was just the same but its d journey that has made all the difference. Time with all of my classmates has been more like a rollercoaster ride- we screamed, shouted, cried, laughed -but at the end I know, it was an exhilarating ride. For our source of inspiration As I sit to write something about Vishal sir… I’ll better b honest 'coz I believe…truth is more valuable than flattery (I know these words and many a more are a bit cliché but they are just apt for the person I am writing about). So here it goes…… a wonderful human being...and what further adds to his persona is his simplicity as a person…no complications, no ego hassles….extremely forgiving….completely trustworthy…Further he is one person who speaks straight from his heart and not made up of ……he is readily available for all his students...better than 24 hrs ATM … We know we can rely on him for anything & everything without thinking even for a while...for us he defines the relationship of a mentor & a disciple perfectly. Though not continuing with 2 of the subjects now (Physics and Chemistry) but I still am confident in some parts of those subjects. This has surely been the impact of a powerful teaching at Vishal Institute. Concept clearance and a lot of practice (and marks; at least after 'Gyanchand') is what is known as 'guaranteed'. Vishal institute is no doubt the best place for education , but here we not only study but we learn. One of the most usefull classes were the 'useless classes'. Though i was able to attend a few of them but i gathered a lot . till today I have all those notes and while going through them I realise that I learned something which I never learned again. Apart from learning the academic concepts , here we learn concepts of life too. Our all time inspiration is our Vishal Sir. N what to say about him .he is just uncomparable. He is a wonderful teacher , a guide, an inspiration , and a best friend whom we can trust blindly for any querry , any guidance. Vishal Institute has been one of the most powerful influencer for my educational growth. I used to look forward to classes as one looks forward to watching a movie or having an adventurous ride. I’ve been a part of this institute for two wholesome years of my life, this was my first time ever that I took admission in tuition and I couldn’t choose any better than this institute. Reflecting on the Useless classes I took, it's interesting that the seemingly "useless” classes turned out to be the most valuable in my journey.
