Our Foundation Course, popularly called "Useless Classes", builds vision, reasoning and advanced Mathematics skills early – for IIT-JEE, NTSE, JSTSE, IMO, CA, CAT and UPSC.
Course Highlights
- Changes the most important thing – vision
- Better performance in JSTSE, NTSE, IMO and other Olympiads
- Right direction for IIT, CAT, IIM, MBA and UPSC
- Sharp rise in Mathematics performance
- Compete among 5,00,000 students – not 50 or 500
- Improves reflexes and the ability to think differently
Most students dream of very high goals – IIT, CAT, IIM, MBA, UPSC – but are unable to start at the right time because of a lack of passion, facilities or awareness. Many begin thinking about it only after Class 10 and then face difficulties because of the steep change in the level of the Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
The Foundation Course at Vishal Institute – known to generations of our students as the "Useless Classes" – solves this by building the right foundation early.
What the Foundation Course does
- Changes the most important thing… vision
- Improves performance in JSTSE, NTSE, IMO and other Olympiads

Many of our alumni credit the Foundation Course for clearing the Vidyamandir Classes (VMC) entrance and, later, IIT-JEE.
